Phoenix’s most beloved holiday tradition is coming back, and this year it’s bigger, brighter and more vibrant than ever. Desert Botanical Garden has announced the dates for Las Noches de las Luminarias 2026: the Garden will glow Nov. 27-29, Dec. 4-6, Dec. 11-13, Dec. 16-23, Dec. 26-31 and Jan. 1-3, from 5 to 9:30 p.m.
More than 8,000 hand-lit luminarias and sparkling lights will transform the desert trails into a dreamlike winter escape, with thousands of glowing luminarias, radiant light displays and expanded live entertainment filling every Garden corner. Visitors can expect festive moments around every turn: live music and performances from acts like the Traveler World Orchestra, Simply Three and Vinyl Station, plus twinkling lights, festive touches and one-of-a-kind holiday tree and wreath displays that give the Garden a winter-wonderland feel with a distinctly Sonoran Desert twist.
And there’s even more to see: the Garden’s dazzling Super Bloom by Graphic Rewilding will be blooming BIG alongside the luminarias, turning the desert into a larger-than-life celebration of flowers, color and creativity.
Member tickets go on sale Oct. 1 and general admission tickets go on sale Oct. 16, so mark your calendar early: this is one of those magical Arizona evenings that sells out fast. Stroll the glowing trails, soak in the sounds of the season and let thousands of lights turn the desert into pure holiday magic.
