This Halloween, The Phoenix Symphony is turning Symphony Hall into a battleground of legends. On Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 2:00 PM, the orchestra presents “Heroes & Villains: Music in Motion,” a family concert where the most iconic themes of movie heroes and villains come to life in glorious surround sound.
Get ready for an epic musical showdown: thrill to the heroic themes of Harry Potter, Superman, The Avengers and Star Wars, then shiver at the dark sounds of Darth Vader’s march and the terrifying shark from Jaws. Costumes are encouraged for this Halloween weekend concert, so the whole family can dress up as their favorite hero or villain and join the fun.
The afternoon starts even before the first note: in the lobby, families can enjoy a pre-concert gathering with the Symphony’s community partner, the Mesa Youth Creative Agency. Tickets are on sale now through the Symphony’s website and box office, and with a 2:00 PM start, it’s the perfect Halloween afternoon plan for kids and grown-ups alike.
The Phoenix Symphony is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose concerts, music education programs and community performances bring the power of live music to people across the Valley all year long.
