Rock royalty is coming to Phoenix. Benmont Tench, founding member of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and one of the most respected keyboardists in contemporary rock, takes the stage at the MIM Music Theater on Monday, October 12 at 7:00pm.
Tench helped shape the unmistakable sound of the Heartbreakers, and his magic touch has graced recordings by Stevie Nicks, Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, Neil Diamond, The Chicks, The Rolling Stones, and Johnny Cash. This concert presents his second solo LP, The Melancholy Season (2025), produced by Jonathan Wilson.
The show is part of the Musical Instrument Museum’s Fall 2026 Concert Series, bringing world-class artists to one of the country’s most celebrated concert venues. Members who donate $500 or more annually receive a 10% ticket discount.
An intimate night with a true keyboard legend — don’t miss it. Visit the MIM’s official event page for tickets and details.
