Live at the Pulitzer and Live at The Sheldon: The SLSO Up Close

The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s musicians step out of the big hall twice this November, and both rooms are treasures. ‘Live at the Pulitzer’ (November 10, 2026) pairs adventurous contemporary chamber music with the Pulitzer Arts Foundation’s exhibitions — programs composed in conversation with the art on the walls. ‘Live at The Sheldon’ (November 19) brings the series to the Sheldon Concert Hall, the 1912 room musicians praise as acoustically perfect.

These are the SLSO’s laboratory nights: orchestra members curate and perform music they love, at chamber scale, in two of Grand Center’s most beautiful spaces, often with the composers’ ink barely dry. Intimate, smart and unlike anything else on the calendar.

Grand Center will be glowing. Details at slso.org.
