Hidden above a spinning 1906 carousel in Yerba Buena Gardens, the Children’s Creativity Museum is San Francisco’s imagination workshop. Kids can sculpt clay characters and bring them to life in the Animation Studio, invent games in the Innovation Lab, record music videos and build with everything from cardboard to code.
The museum aims squarely at ages 2 to 12, with a gentle early-childhood area for the littlest creators and daily drop-in activities that keep the calendar fresh. Ride LeRoy King Carousel on your way in or out – two spins for the price of admission to the gardens’ family corner – and the day is complete.
