Fall break in Phoenix just got a whole lot more creative! Arizona Science Center has unveiled CREATE, a brand-new reimagined makerspace inside the Center, giving guests of all ages a joyful new way to explore, discover and build.
Inspired by the energy of an inventor’s workshop, the imagination of an art studio, the curiosity of a laboratory and the warmth of a shared community space, CREATE invites families to turn ideas into action. Free tinkering activities include building challenges and doodling tables, while hands-on workshops let aspiring makers dive deeper into tools and engineering.
The makerspace is included with general admission, and arrives alongside another fall-break treat: CaveScape now features Hidden Habitats, where visitors can meet live cave-dwelling animals like Egyptian fruit bats, chinchillas, a monitor lizard and geckos.
To celebrate the season, the Center is offering 15% off a Discovery Pass from October 6 through October 31, 2026, with promo code FALLBREAK15, and its Museums for All program keeps general admission at just $5 per person for EBT cardholders.
The Center, located in downtown Phoenix, is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
