Weave Your Own Fall Magic at Cheekwood’s Floral Tapestry Workshop in Nashville

Nashville’s beloved Cheekwood Estate & Gardens is turning autumn into art this weekend! On Saturday, October 10 at 10 a.m., the historic 55-acre garden hosts a charming hands-on workshop called Fall Floral Weaving, perfect for anyone who loves crafts, flowers, and a relaxing creative morning.

Participants will explore the art of tapestry weaving and design their very own wall hanging using beautiful textiles and dried flowers — a one-of-a-kind seasonal piece to take home and hang with pride. The class is led by Jennifer Fleischer of Ibu Textiles and takes place in the studios of the Frist Learning Center at Cheekwood, surrounded by all the fall magic the gardens have to offer.

The workshop is open to adults of all skill levels, no weaving experience needed. Tickets are $60 for non-members and $48 for Cheekwood members — a lovely way to spend a Saturday surrounded by nature, color, and creativity.

Fall is one of the most enchanting seasons at Cheekwood, when the gardens burst with autumn color and the whole estate celebrates the harvest season. If you have been waiting for a sign to try something new and handmade, this is it: grab a friend, bring your creativity, and weave a little fall joy into your day.
