Holiday magic is coming to the stage in Nashville! Ken Ludwig’s Twas the Night Before Christmas opens at Nashville Children’s Theatre on November 21 and runs through December 27, 2026, bringing one of the most joyful seasonal stories to life for the whole family.
In this playful take on the beloved poem, a mouse is stirring — and no wonder! Santa missed his house last year. Before you can say “Merry Christmas!”, audiences join the wild adventures of a clever mouse, a mischievous elf, and a spunky little girl who just won’t take no for an answer.
The show is recommended for all ages, making it a perfect outing for grandparents, parents, and little ones alike. Nashville Children’s Theatre has been delighting young audiences since 1931, and this production promises plenty of laughter, music, and heart.
As always, the theatre’s performances are sensory friendly, and accessibility options help every family enjoy the magic. Tickets are on sale now, and holiday performances fill up fast — grab your seats early for this festive tradition in the making.
