Snowfall, Santa and a Sing-Along: The DSO’s Family Holidays Concert Returns to the Meyerson

There is nothing quite like the magic of the holidays seen through a child’s eyes — and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra knows exactly how to deliver it. This December, families are invited to the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center for Family Holidays with the DSO, a kid-friendly, one-hour concert of holiday classics designed so all ages can share the music together.

On Saturday, December 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM, conductor Lawrence Loh takes the podium with a joyful program tailor-made for little ones. Award-winning mezzo-soprano Josefina Maldonado brings her sparkling voice to the celebration, Bradley Hunter Welch performs on the magnificent Lay Family Organ, and the Dallas Symphony Chorus, led by Anthony Blake Clark, fills the hall with the sound of the season.

The best part? This is a concert where children are not just the audience — they are the stars. Saint Nick makes a special pit stop to check everyone off his list, the little ones join in a festive sing-along they will remember for years, and the grand finale brings the magic of indoor snowfall right inside the concert hall.

At just one hour long, this morning concert is the perfect first symphony experience for young music lovers, and it is all part of the Harry W. Bass Jr. Foundation Holiday Series. Tickets start at $48, so gather the whole family and make a new holiday tradition in the heart of the Dallas Arts District.
