Haunted Seas: Spooky Family Fun Swims Into Georgia Aquarium All October

This October, Georgia Aquarium is trading its usual underwater magic for a delightfully spooky twist. Haunted Seas is back for the whole month, turning the galleries into a Halloween wonderland where families can trick-or-treat their way from the ocean’s depths to its shorelines.

Little ghosts and goblins will find costumed characters swimming through their imagination around every corner, with festive surprises tucked between the famous whale sharks, belugas, and sea otters. Special themed animal presentations add a seasonal sparkle to the Aquarium’s world-class exhibits, making it the perfect family outing for the Halloween season.

The best part? All of the Haunted Seas festivities are included with an Aqua Pass, so families can dive into the fun as often as they like. And for the grown-ups, Haunted Seas After Hours brings a playful adults-only twist with spooky-themed cocktails and live entertainment on October 16 and 30, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.

As always, Happy City News recommends making a full day of it: explore the galleries, catch a dolphin or sea lion presentation, and cap the visit with a walk through downtown Atlanta. Haunted Seas runs through the end of October at Georgia Aquarium, 225 Baker Street NW.
