Fall Festival Brings Autumn Fun to San Diego Botanic Garden This Saturday

Autumn is in the air in North County, and San Diego Botanic Garden is celebrating in style! This Saturday, October 17, the Garden’s 37-acre oasis in Encinitas hosts its annual Fall Festival, a full day of seasonal fun for the whole family, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Spend the day on the Lawn Garden enjoying live music, bubbles, lawn games, and more. Little ones can get creative with crafts and puzzles, while the whole family can team up for a round of plant bingo — with special plants up for grabs. Encinitas bubble artist Alan Kler brings his whimsical bubble art to the Garden from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., delighting kids and grown-ups alike.

When hunger strikes, grab a bite from the food truck and settle in with a glass of wine or a special craft beer from the Garden’s bar. Whether you’re here for the plants, the performances, or simply to soak up the festive fall vibes, there’s something for everyone.

Best of all, the festival is included with General Admission to the Garden, and members get in free — so it’s the perfect excuse to explore 29 themed gardens, ocean views, and miles of meandering trails while you’re there.
