The San Antonio Zoo is throwing its gates open a little wider for the neighborhood it loves: Community Locals Day is back, offering admission for just $8 per person on select dates.
Presented by Community First Health Plans, these special days are the zoo’s way of inviting even more families to experience how it blends wildlife conservation, expert animal care, and hands-on education to help secure a future for wildlife.
The first Community Locals Day is today, Friday, October 9, 2026 — with two more dates to plan for: Friday, November 27 and Friday, December 4, 2026. Tickets are available online, so families can plan ahead and head straight into a wild day of adventure.
From the brand-new Congo Falls to old favorites across the zoo, it’s a full day of sunshine, smiles, and discovery — now at a price that lets everyone join the fun.
