Selena Forever: Briscoe Museum Celebrates the Queen of Tejano Music Through January 2027

¡Cómo la flor! San Antonio is glowing with the spirit of the Queen of Tejano Music. The Briscoe Western Art Museum (210 W. Market Street) presents “Selena Forever / Siempre Selena,” a stunning photography exhibition in the Kate Marmion Gallery, on view now through January 4, 2027.

The show gathers monumental portraits of Selena Quintanilla-Pérez taken by acclaimed San Antonio photographer John Dyer between 1992 and 1994, during her meteoric rise to international stardom. Described as the most comprehensive display of large-scale Selena portraits ever assembled, the exhibition also includes never-before-seen boutique photos, magazine covers, and memorabilia.

It is a heartfelt tribute to a Tejana cultural icon — a source of pride for Texas and a magnetic draw for visitors and families. The exhibition pairs beautifully with its sister show, Tejano Legacy, making the Briscoe the place to celebrate Selena’s enduring glow this fall and holiday season.

With three months left to experience it, now is the perfect time to plan your visit and sing along with the music of the Queen!
