Orlando Ballet Takes Audiences Down the Rabbit Hole with “Alice in Wonderland” This February

Get ready to tumble down the rabbit hole, Orlando! Orlando Ballet invites audiences of all ages to a fantastical adventure as its beloved season continues with Alice in Wonderland, running February 11–14, 2027, at the beautiful Steinmetz Hall in the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

In choreographer Kenneth Tindall’s vibrant ballet adaptation, featuring an enchanting score by Alexandra Harwood, young Alice is drawn away from her lessons by a hurried White Rabbit and into a magical realm of wonder and surprise. Along the way she meets unforgettable characters: the mysterious Caterpillar, the mischievous Cheshire Cat, the eccentric Mad Hatter and his chaotic tea party — and the fiery Queen of Hearts, whose larger-than-life presence brings humor and drama to this topsy-turvy world.

Brought to life through dynamic choreography and dazzling design, this joyful ballet celebrates imagination, bravery, and the magic of believing in the extraordinary — a true delight for first-time balletgoers and seasoned fans alike. The production runs 1 hour and 45 minutes with one intermission and is recommended for ages 5 and up.

Families take note: the Saturday, February 13, 2:00 p.m. performance is a special Family Friendly Performance with relaxed re-entry, plus whimsical pre-show activities including family crafts, Alice in Wonderland story time, an interactive dance class, face painting, and themed photo opportunities. Arrive early and make a day of it!

Performances are Thursday, February 11 and Friday, February 12 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, February 13 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, February 14 at 2:00 p.m. Sponsored by Orlando Health, this show can also be included in an Orlando Ballet season subscription package for savings of up to 30%.
