Orlando Ballet’s Director’s Collection Brings Three Stunning Ballets to Steinmetz Hall, April 2–4, 2027

Orlando Ballet is closing its 2026–2027 season in style with Director’s Collection, a thrilling mixed-repertoire evening that takes over Steinmetz Hall at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts from April 2 to 4, 2027. Three distinctive ballets share one stage, offering audiences a joyful journey through classical brilliance, poetic lyricism, and spirited storytelling.

The evening opens with Paquita, a dazzling jewel of the classical repertoire staged by Lisa Morris, featuring the most compelling excerpts from the full-length ballet. A technical and artistic showcase set to a passionate musical score, it is pure classical magic.

Mark Godden returns to Orlando Ballet following last season’s acclaimed Angels in the Architecture with Miroirs, a work of quiet beauty set to the hauntingly beautiful music of Maurice Ravel. Delicate, symmetrical patterns shift into moments of unexpected asymmetry, revealing the dancers as living works of art in a mesmerizing soundscape.

The program concludes with Deverell, an original ballet by Artistic Director Jorden Morris inspired by his Celtic heritage — spirited, joyful, and full of energy.

Showtimes are Friday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 3 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, April 4 at 2 p.m., with a runtime of one hour and 40 minutes. Tickets are on sale now, and the program is also included in the 2026–2027 season subscription package.
