Print Your Own Holiday Gifts at the Dallas Arboretum on November 8

Dallas craft lovers can get a head start on the holidays — and make something with their own hands. The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden hosts Celebrate the Holidays with Printmaking on Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Green Classroom, a hands-on workshop where guests express their creativity and turn hand-printed designs into handmade gifts for the season.

Printmaking is a wonderfully forgiving art: carve or build a design once, and you can print it again and again on cards, gift wrap, tags and keepsakes, each one slightly unique. Set inside the Arboretum’s 66 acres on the shore of White Rock Lake — where Autumn at the Arboretum’s pumpkin displays are still delighting visitors — the afternoon class pairs the garden’s fall color with a cozy, creative project to take home.

The workshop is part of the Arboretum’s popular series of adult and family classes at 8525 Garland Road, which continues through the season with a Yule log baking class on November 14 and a Holiday Gingerbread House class on December 5. Registration through the Arboretum’s website is recommended, as these seasonal classes tend to fill quickly.
