One of Dallas’ happiest holiday traditions is getting ready to roll. The Trains at NorthPark return on Saturday, November 14, 2026, and run through January 3, 2027, on Level One of NorthPark Center, across from Kona Grill.
Inside, miniature trains travel thousands of feet of track on a journey across a tiny America, passing hand-crafted replicas of famous landmarks — from New York’s Grand Central Terminal and the monuments of Washington, D.C., to the Dallas skyline itself. Generations of North Texas families have made leaning in close to watch the little locomotives a yearly ritual.
The best part is where the ticket money goes. The exhibition benefits the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, which since 1981 has given families of seriously ill children a home away from home while they receive care at Dallas hospitals. Visitors can even sponsor a custom railcar and watch it ride the tracks all season.
This year’s edition, presented by Bank of Texas, adds new editions of Choo Choo Tales & Tunes storytelling and Themed Tuesdays, the Ronald McDonald House announced. For hours and tickets, visit trainsatnorthpark.org — and let the season begin.
