The youngest garden-goers in Dallas have a standing date with discovery. Little Adventurers, the Dallas Arboretum’s program for toddlers and preschoolers, fills the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden with imagination and hands-on learning every Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Formerly known as Mommy and Me Mondays and Tiny Tot Tuesdays, the program invites little ones into the Walne Family Discovery Lab for KinderLabs, STEM-based exploration designed for small hands and big questions. Mini-Movement sessions get children stretching, balancing and laughing through obstacle courses and playful activities that build gross motor skills and fitness.
Mondays bring a nature-themed puppet show that sparks imagination, while story times and garden activities change with the seasons — right now surrounded by the color of Autumn at the Arboretum and its famous Pumpkin Village. It is an easy, joyful way for families to turn a weekday morning into an outdoor classroom, just minutes from downtown Dallas at 8525 Garland Road on the shores of White Rock Lake.
