One of Dallas’s most colorful traditions is back! The Dallas Symphony Orchestra invites everyone to celebrate Día de los Muertos with the DSO, its beloved annual concert honoring lost loved ones through vibrant music, explosive color and joyful remembrance. The one-night-only performance takes place on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 7:30pm at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
Conducted by Enrico Lopez-Yañez, the DSO’s new Creative Director and Principal Conductor of Pops and Specials, the evening fills the Meyerson with the sounds of Mexico: mariachi groups Mariachi Los Unicos, Mariachi Lone Star and Mariachi Pegaso take the stage alongside the dazzling dancers of Las Estrellas de Tejas Ballet Folklorico and the Booker T. Washington High School Ballet Folklorico.
The celebration goes far beyond the music. Guests are invited to bring an offering for the community ofrenda, savor traditional pan de muerto and hot chocolate, and sing and dance along with the performers. It is a night of peaceful remembrance and infectious joy — as the DSO says, on this day, todos somos calaveras.
Tickets start at $33, making this a perfect plan for families and friends who want to experience one of the most heartfelt nights of the fall season in the Dallas Arts District.
