Baltimore Choral Arts: The City in Full Voice

When Baltimore wants to hear itself sing, it calls the Baltimore Choral Arts Society. Founded in 1966 and led by Music Director Anthony Blake Clark, the 100-plus-voice chorus is one of America’s leading choral organizations — a fixture of the region’s concert life from grand orchestral collaborations with the BSO to its beloved ‘Christmas with Choral Arts’ holiday performances.

The chorus’s calendar stretches from Baroque masterworks to new commissions and its ‘Choral Arts on the road’ community concerts, while its youth programs train the next generation of the city’s singers. There is nothing quite like a full chorus in a resonant hall to make a winter night feel luminous.

Concerts take place across Baltimore-area venues through the season. Schedule at baltimorechoralarts.org.
