San Antonio’s Original Beer Festival Returns to Hemisfair This Saturday, Pouring for the Food Bank

Cheers, San Antonio! The San Antonio Beer Festival, the city’s original beer fest founded in 2005, is back at Hemisfair this Saturday, October 17, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. — and this year every sip supports a great cause.

Festivalgoers will pour hundreds of premium, craft, and near beers from breweries around the world, turning the heart of downtown into a paradise for beer lovers. But the fun goes well beyond the glass: the festival also serves up live music, games, wines, ciders, food trucks, food booths, and local vendors.

Bring a lawn chair or a blanket, gather your friends, and enjoy a beautiful fall day under the San Antonio sky — with the added joy of knowing that a portion of the proceeds benefits the San Antonio Food Bank. The event takes place rain or shine.

Happy City News celebrates two decades of this beloved tradition that brings people together, supports local vendors, and gives back to the community. Get your tickets online at sanantoniobeerfestival.com. Please note: all guests must be 21 or older with a valid ID.
