Houston, get ready for one of the most joyful nights of the fall. Asia Society Texas celebrates its Night Market 2026 on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 6 to 10 p.m. at its home in the Museum District, 1370 Southmore Blvd.
Inspired by the beloved street markets of East and Southeast Asia, this annual tradition — going strong since 2013 — honors Houston’s Asian and Asian American communities with a free outdoor night market full of food, art, local goods and activities for all ages along Southmore Boulevard.
Inside the building, a $5 ticket (free for members) opens even more fun: Shogeki Sumo demonstrations at 6:30, 7:45 and 9 p.m., after-hours access to the exhibition Yoshitaka Amano: Big Bang, an Artists’ Alley, a Manga Cafe and a mahjong and games zone. Outside, the stage lights up with South Seas Productions, UH Modern and the thundering drums of Kaminari Taiko at 6:45 and 8 p.m.
Advance ticket sales close at 4 p.m. on event day, so plan ahead, bring the family and come hungry — the Night Market is Houston at its most delicious and welcoming.
