Baltimore’s Inner Harbor Ice Rink Returns November 6 for a Winter Season on the Water

Baltimore, get your skates ready. The Inner Harbor Ice Rink, one of the happiest places of the city’s winter, returns on Friday, November 6, inviting everyone to glide across the ice with the downtown skyline shining across the water. The open-air rink sits at the top of the Inner Harbor Amphitheater at 201 E. Pratt Street, between the Harborplace pavilions at the corner of Light and Pratt streets.

The season runs daily through Monday, January 18, 2027, and tickets go on sale Monday, November 2. Regular hours are Monday to Thursday from noon to 10 p.m., Friday from noon to 11 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with special holiday hours on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.

It is a place made for everybody. Rental skates run from youth size 9 to adult men’s size 13, blue skate walkers help beginners find their balance on a first-come basis, and children under 9 skate accompanied by an adult. Between turns on the ice, the rink anchors a cheerful waterfront season of holiday markets, festivals and family activities all along the harbor.

Happy City News recommends making it a full outing: a spin at sunset, a warm drink afterwards and a stroll along the illuminated promenade. Baltimore’s winter starts here, out on the ice.
