U.S. Bank Wild Lights: The Saint Louis Zoo After Dark

When the animals settle and the lights come up, the Saint Louis Zoo becomes a winter wonderland. U.S. Bank Wild Lights returns on select nights from November 26 through December 30, 2026 (5–8:30 p.m.), transforming the zoo’s paths into glowing themed worlds of snowflakes, candy canes, penguins and polar bears.

Families stroll through two dazzling light tunnels, warm up with winter treats and s’mores, ride the Conservation Carousel, and visit the indoor warmth of Penguin & Puffin Coast and the Insectarium along the way. A sensory-friendly night offers quieter areas and trained staff for guests who prefer the magic turned down a notch, and Santa himself makes appearances on select evenings.

Wild Lights is a ticketed event (the zoo itself is famously free) and advance online purchase is recommended — popular nights sell out.

Wild Lights is at the Saint Louis Zoo in Forest Park. Tickets at stlzoo.org.
