Salt-N-Pepa Are Taking Over Sky Church: An Intimate Night of Hip-Hop at MOPOP

Seattle is about to get its groove back — in the best possible way! The legendary trio Salt-N-Pepa is coming to the Museum of Pop Culture for a one-night-only performance on October 22, 2026, and it’s happening in the most up-close-and-personal setting imaginable: Sky Church.

This isn’t a stadium show. This is the Grammy-winning group that changed hip-hop forever — “Push It,” “Shoop,” “Let’s Talk About Sex” — standing just steps away from you in an intimate room built for getting close to the icons. It’s their only Pacific Northwest performance this year, which makes this night truly special for Seattle music lovers.

The concert headlines the Icons of Pop Culture Gala, MOPOP’s biggest night of the year, with Salt-N-Pepa honored as this year’s Music Honorees and Spinderella on the decks. Doors open at 8:30 PM, and a $250 performance ticket gets you into the show plus light bites and drinks — and every ticket helps power the museum’s future exhibitions, youth education programs, and community initiatives.

If these are the voices that soundtracked your youth (or your parents’ best dance moves), this is the Seattle night you won’t want to miss.
