Music & Story Time with Mark DeMaio Brings Joyful Sing-Alongs to Little Art Lovers at Mennello Museum

Some of the happiest mornings in Orlando begin with a song. The Mennello Museum of American Art is welcoming its youngest visitors with Music & Story Time with Mark DeMaio, a monthly program designed especially for the littlest art lovers and their grown-ups.

Led by Mark DeMaio of Caravan Learning, each session blends visual and musical arts into a playful, percussive sing-along paired with story time. It is the perfect gentle first introduction to a museum: full of rhythm, laughter, and imagination, set inside one of Orlando’s most beloved lakeside art spaces.

The next date is Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m., featuring the story Ojiichan’s Gift by Chieri Uegaki. The series continues monthly with new books, including Wabi Sabi on November 11 and The Snail on December 16, so there is always a new story to sing along to.

Admission is free for Mennello Museum members and just $8 per family for future members, making it one of the sweetest affordable family outings in the city. Come for the music, stay for the gardens, and let your little one fall in love with art from the very first note.
