Orlando Shines as North America’s Top Meeting Destination at IMEX America 2026

Orlando is showing the world why it is Cvent’s No. 1 Top Meeting Destination in North America, with a dazzling showcase this week at IMEX America 2026 in Las Vegas. Visit Orlando is telling the destination’s story of innovation and growth, headlined by the $560 million Grand Concourse Expansion at the Orange County Convention Center.

Construction has already begun on the ambitious project, scheduled to open by late 2029. It will add 44,000 square feet of meeting space and a spectacular 100,000-square-foot grand ballroom able to welcome between 5,000 and 10,000 attendees, with flexible layouts for everything from general sessions to galas.

The good news keeps rolling across the destination: the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort has opened more than 100,000 square feet of new event space, Disney’s Grand Floridian Convention Center has reopened after a beautiful refurbishment, and Universal Orlando Resort will debut Celestial Expo, a brand-new 17,500-square-foot venue, in 2027. Orlando International Airport is also investing $6.1 billion to expand capacity through 2030.

With world-class venues, sunshine, and legendary hospitality, Orlando continues to set the standard for meetings, conferences, and group experiences of every size.
