This Sunday is the perfect excuse to turn your family into a team of artists! The Mennello Museum of American Art is hosting its Free Family Funday on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and everyone is invited to enjoy a full day of creativity at no cost.
Free Family Funday, presented by VyStar Credit Union and Orlando Health, takes place on the second Sunday of every month. It includes free admission all day long, docent-guided tours of the galleries every hour (at 12:30, 1:30, and 2:30 PM), and a hands-on art project the whole family can create together. Every month brings a brand-new project inspired by the themes, subjects, and techniques of the museum’s current exhibition, so no two Fundays are ever the same.
The museum, at 900 E. Princeton Street in Orlando, is a true local treasure celebrating American art, from folk traditions to contemporary creations. It is supported by the City of Orlando, and this monthly celebration is one of the sweetest ways to introduce kids to the joy of making art.
Mark your calendar, grab the little ones, and come make something wonderful this Sunday!
