Adventure Science Center: Nashville’s Hands-On Science Playground for Kids

Perched on a hill south of downtown, the Adventure Science Center is Nashville’s temple of curiosity: a 44-foot adventure tower to climb, a giant walk-through human body, a simulated spacewalk and the dazzling Sudekum Planetarium overhead.

Daily live science demonstrations, maker activities and rotating exhibitions keep the museum fresh for repeat visits, while the youngest explorers get their own early-childhood space designed for safe, wobbly discovery.

With downtown views from its hilltop lawn and Fort Negley Park next door, it’s the anchor of a perfect Nashville science day — the kind of museum where kids beg to stay one more hour.
