Glow Wild Lights Up the Nashville Zoo with a Brand-New Holiday Spectacle

Nashville’s holiday season just got a whole lot brighter. The Nashville Zoo has announced Glow Wild, an entirely new holiday light experience that will transform the zoo into a glowing winter wonderland — the first brand-new seasonal celebration since its longtime Zoolumination festival ended.

Running nightly from November 13, 2026 through January 3, 2027, Glow Wild will fill the zoo with radiant wildlife sculptures, sparkling holiday displays, and a massive 85-foot-tall Christmas tree crowned with a synchronized light show that dances to the music. And there’s more than lights to enjoy: select animal exhibits will stay open after dark, including the Sumatran tiger, the Andean bear, and the flamingos. Santa Claus himself will greet families in Holiday Square every night from November 24 through December 24.

New this year, visitors can also lace up their skates on an outdoor ice skating rink under the stars. Skating is $12 for non-members and $10 for members, including skate rental and a 45-minute session (weather permitting).

Glow Wild runs nightly from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. It’s a family-friendly celebration that brings the wild side of the holidays to the heart of Nashville — one twinkling light at a time.
