Los Angeles is about to glow a little brighter! L.A. Zoo Lights, the city’s wildest holiday tradition, returns to the Los Angeles Zoo on select nights from November 20 through January 2, turning the Zoo into a dazzling wonderland of light, color, and imagination.
This year’s edition invites guests on a brand-new journey through a vibrant world of plants, pollinators, and breathtaking displays celebrating the wonders of nature, past and present. Wander beneath larger-than-life birds, butterflies, and insects, drift past glowing flowers and marine creatures, and come face to face with illuminated Ice Age giants — all crafted from spectacular sculptural lights.
Back by popular demand are the beloved fan favorites: interactive light elements, an artificial ice-skating rink, seasonal treats and festive cocktails, magical photo spots around the park, and of course, a visit with Santa Claus himself. It is the perfect outing for families, date nights, and anyone who loves the holidays with a wild twist.
Bundle up, grab some hot cocoa, and let the lights guide you through one of the most joyful nights of the season in Los Angeles. Happy City News will see you under the lights!
