CicLAvia—Heart of LA Brings 6.5 Miles of Car-Free Streets to the City

Get ready to take back the streets! CicLAvia—Heart of LA, the 68th event from the nonprofit 501(c)(3) behind Los Angeles’ beloved open-streets tradition, returns on Sunday, October 11, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

More than 6.5 miles of streets will be closed to cars and opened to people, connecting Downtown, Chinatown, Little Tokyo, the Arts District, Boyle Heights and Echo Park. Walk, bike, skate, run or roll through the heart of the city — it’s completely free and open to everyone.

CicLAvia has become one of LA’s happiest community traditions, turning ordinary boulevards into car-free parks for a day. Grab your friends, family, bikes and four-legged companions, and celebrate the city the joyful, human-powered way.
