The Music Center Unveils a Blockbuster 2026–2027 Dance Season in Los Angeles

Los Angeles is about to be swept away — and that’s exactly the plan. The Music Center has unveiled its extraordinary 2026–2027 season of Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center, and the lineup reads like a dream for dance lovers.

The season opens October 23–25, 2026 at the Ahmanson Theatre with Ballet Festival: Jerome Robbins, a Joyce Theater Production celebrating the genius of America’s beloved choreographer. Star power arrives with none other than Tiler Peck and Roman Mejia headlining performances of Four Bagatelles, Other Dances, In the Night and more.

In January 2027, audiences experience The Surge: An Ode to Sinéad O’Connor — a powerful new work performed by a remarkable cast of ten women, set to the music of the legendary singer.

March brings the return of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater for the fourth year of its exclusive Southern California residency (March 31 – April 4, 2027), alongside the North American premiere of Compañía Nacional de Danza’s Don Quixote.

The grand finale arrives in June 2027 with The Joffrey Ballet in the West Coast premiere of The Sleeping Beauty — a fairy-tale spectacle for audiences of all ages.
