Denver’s favorite winter stroll is back. Zoo Lights returns to the Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance on select nights from November 23, 2026 through January 3, 2027, turning 80 acres into a glowing wonderland with more than three million lights.
The zoo describes it as the place where tradition stands tall and family fun shines brightest — a relaxed evening walk past sparkling displays, with time to slow down, take photos and enjoy the animals’ home in a whole new light. Hours are 4:30 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 4:30 to 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The event is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Tickets go on sale November 5, and zoo members get priority access on November 2 plus 10 percent off. Regular-night admission is $29.95 for adults and seniors and $22.95 for youth, with children 2 and under free. Value nights — including November 29 to December 2 and January 2 and 3 — are $25.95 and $18.95. Families can also add the Zoo Lights Bundle, with a souvenir cup of hot cocoa and two ride vouchers for the Conservation Carousel or the Denver Zoo Railroad, while supplies last each night.
It is a joyful, easy plan for a Denver winter evening — warm drinks, bright lights and a beloved tradition shared across generations.
