Rising above the South Platte River in southwest Denver, Ruby Hill Park is the city’s hilltop playground — a sweeping Denver park where skyline views, bike jumps and free summer music all share the same green slopes.
The park is home to Levitt Pavilion Denver, the nonprofit outdoor venue that fills warm evenings with free concerts under the stars, and to the Ruby Hill Bike Park, where riders of all ages test dirt jumps and a skills course with the downtown skyline as their backdrop.
In winter, the hill trades wheels for snowboards at the Ruby Hill Rail Yard, a beloved free terrain park that introduces hundreds of kids to snow sports right inside the city. Year-round, its trails connect to the South Platte Greenway for rides and runs along the river.
Pack a picnic, catch a sunset from the top of the hill and watch Denver sparkle: Ruby Hill is proof that some of the Mile High City’s best views come with grass under your feet.
