Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Comes to Denver: A Tale as Old as Time at the Buell Theatre

Be our guest! The most beloved love story in musical theatre is taking over Denver this fall. Disney’s Beauty and the Beast — the Broadway smash-hit and Tony Award-winning musical — arrives at the Buell Theatre from October 20 through November 7, 2026, as part of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts’ Broadway season.

This is Disney’s first North American touring production of Beauty and the Beast in more than 25 years, and it comes with spectacular new sets and dazzling costumes that bring the enchanted castle to life like never before. Audiences will sing along with the timeless melodies everyone knows by heart — from the joyful celebration of “Be Our Guest” to the romance of “Beauty and the Beast” — in a tale about seeing beyond appearances and the true power of love.

There’s a special hometown twist: the Beast is played by Littleton-born Andrew Flatt, who returns to Colorado to star in the role. A Colorado kid playing a Disney icon on Denver’s biggest stage — it doesn’t get much better than that.

Perfect for a family night out or a date night with a touch of magic, this production reminds us why the story has enchanted generations. Don’t miss your chance to be swept away by the romance, the grandeur and the wonder — right here in the Mile High City.
