DIVA Takes Center Stage in Denver: DAM Is the Exclusive U.S. Venue for the V&A’s Star-Studded Exhibition

Denver just became the brightest stage in the United States. The Denver Art Museum (DAM) is the exclusive U.S. venue for DIVA, the celebrated exhibition from London’s Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A) — and it’s open right now, October 4, 2026 through January 31, 2027.

Reinventing the meaning of the word ‘diva’ across opera, dance, theatre, film and popular music, DIVA celebrates the power and creativity of the world’s most iconic performers, honoring female artists as true cultural megastars. The exhibition features more than 200 objects, showcases nearly 100 divas and includes nearly 60 dazzling costumes, along with an immersive audio experience on level two of the museum’s Hamilton building.

It’s a dazzling journey through the fashion, performance and sheer star power of the greatest voices of all time. Visitors can admire stage costumes worn by legends like Tina Turner — including her iconic Flame Dress designed by Bob Mackie — and marvel at historic moments like Whitney Houston’s triumphant 1988 Wembley Arena performance.

A perfect plan for art lovers, music fans and families alike: an exhibition that redefines the role of the diva and the creative force behind it. Denver is now the only city in the entire country where you can experience it. Don’t miss it — the spotlight is waiting for you.
