VISIT DENVER, the city’s official convention and visitors bureau, has announced that 2025 was a record-breaking year for tourism in the Mile High City, with 37.6 million domestic visitors choosing Denver as their destination, a 1.4% increase over the previous year.
The great news doesn’t stop there: those visitors spent a record $10.5 billion, another all-time high that speaks volumes about the city’s appeal. From the vibrant downtown and its incredible restaurants to the nearby Rocky Mountains, world-class museums, and the famous craft beer scene, Denver keeps winning hearts across the country.
This success is a team effort. Thousands of Denver hospitality workers, from hotel staff to tour guides, restaurant teams, and event venues, helped make every visit special. The announcement, made in May 2026, shows that the Mile High City’s mix of urban energy and mountain adventure is more popular than ever.
