Golden-hour music, garden breezes, and the sparkle of White Rock Lake — Dallas’s favorite Thursday-night tradition is back and better than ever. The Dallas Arboretum’s Cool Thursdays Concert Series is celebrating 29 years in 2026, and its fall lineup is packed with the tribute acts everyone loves.
Each Thursday evening, the garden transforms into an open-air concert venue. Gates open at 6 p.m. so guests can wander the 66 acres as the sun sets, then settle onto the concert lawn for two hours of live music from 7 to 9 p.m. The fall season runs October 8 through November 5, and this year’s lineup reads like a greatest-hits playlist.
The series kicks off October 8 with Life in Technicolor, a Coldplay tribute, followed by Greggie and the Jets, an Elton John tribute, on October 15. October 22 brings RED, a Taylor Swift tribute, October 29 features Bee Gees Gold, and the season closes November 5 with Emerald City, Dallas’s favorite party band. Select concerts are designated premium nights, but every evening promises the same magic formula: great music, sunset views, and garden vibes.
Concertgoers can preorder food from the Arboretum’s catering partner at least 72 hours in advance, grab a drink from the on-site bar, or bring their own picnic — and even their own wine, with a small corkage fee. Tickets are limited and the series regularly sells out, so grab yours early and make your Thursdays golden again.
