Single Tickets Are Now on Sale for San Francisco Ballet’s Dazzling 2026–27 Season

The curtain is rising on a sparkling year of dance in San Francisco! San Francisco Ballet has just released single tickets for its 2026-27 season, and the lineup is pure magic for ballet lovers of every age. Curated by Artistic Director Tamara Rojo, the season blends timeless masterpieces with bold new creations, running from December 2026 through May 2027 at the War Memorial Opera House.

The season opens with a holiday favorite: Nutcracker, running December 4 to 27. Set in 1915 San Francisco during the Panama-Pacific International Exposition, this production honors the very ballet that made history when SF Ballet gave its American premiere back in 1944. This year also brings the fifth annual Sensory Friendly Performance on December 27, created with Autism Society SF Bay Area so neurodiverse audiences can enjoy the wonder in a relaxed setting.

January brings the Opening Night Gala on the 14th, featuring a world premiere from legendary choreographer William Forsythe. The months that follow are packed with gems: The Sleeping Beauty, the triple bill Titans of Choreography, George Balanchine’s Jewels performed in full for the first time in 17 years, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the mixed bill Divine Creatures with the world premiere of Two Elevens, and Kenneth MacMillan’s sweeping Manon. The new Tiny Dances family series launches in November with an adapted Swan Lake at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre, welcoming little dancers ages 2 to 8.

Single tickets are available now at sfballet.org and through Ticket Services at 415-865-2000. Happy City News readers: pick your night, gather your loved ones, and let San Francisco’s world-class dancers sweep you off your feet.
