Ballet San Antonio Brings Roberto Forleo’s ‘Dracula’ to the Tobin Center

Something dark and beautiful is coming to San Antonio’s stage. From October 23–25, 2026, Ballet San Antonio — the city’s exclusive professional ballet company and a resident company of the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts — presents Roberto Forleo’s Dracula at the HEB Performance Hall.

The production reimagines the gothic legend as a dramatic ballet inspired by Francis Ford Coppola’s 1992 film, following Count Dracula’s centuries-long quest to reunite with his lost love Elisabeta. Expect powerful choreography, theatrical imagery, and a sweeping cinematic score — a Halloween-season treat that is equal parts romance and drama.

Performances run Friday evening, Saturday matinee and evening, and Sunday matinee, with a student matinee also on the schedule — a wonderful chance for young audiences to discover live ballet. With 26 professional dancers, Ballet San Antonio continues to shine as one of the city’s great cultural treasures. Do not miss this mesmerizing opening to the spooky season.
