The San Antonio Botanical Garden is about to glow again. Illuminate, presented by H-E-B, returns for its third year from November 20, 2026 through January 10, 2027, transforming the garden into a nighttime wonderland of light, color, and larger-than-life displays.
Visitors can stroll through dazzling scenes that blend art, culture, and nature into a one-of-a-kind experience unique to San Antonio. From glowing lantern tunnels to towering illuminated flowers, every corner of the garden becomes a photo-worthy moment. It is a perfect plan for a family night out, a romantic date night, or a festive gathering with friends during the holiday season.
Timed ticketing runs from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., with tickets sold in 30-minute entry slots. Admission starts at $24.99 for members, with adult tickets from $29.99 and children from $26.99; little ones under 3 get in free, and a Flex Pass at $39.99 works for any adult or child entry time.
This year also brings something new: Pizza Making: Dough Before the Glow, on select dates from 6 to 7:30 p.m., where the garden’s culinary team guides guests through stretching, topping, and baking their own pizza before they explore the lights. Class-only tickets are $45 per person, or bundle with an Illuminate visit.
