Let’s roll! The Phoenix Zoo’s beloved Stroller Safaris are back, turning the zoo’s trails into an interactive morning adventure for its very youngest fans. Families learn about animals, sing songs and make new friends on a guided stroller walk through one of the zoo’s trails.
The safaris run on the first and third Tuesdays of the month, October through April. Coming up on November 3 and 17, the route explores Predator Passage, meeting at the Enchanted Forest; December 1 and 17 head to Outer Tropics, February brings the Inner Tropics, March visits the Farm, and April closes the season on the Arizona Trail.
Members roll first, from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m., followed by the general session from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m. Admission is just $5 per person, and while online registration secures a spot, day-of registration stays open until each walk fills — families can also sign up in person at the Enchanted Forest during Nature Play.
It’s a gentle, joyful way to start a zoo day: the Phoenix Zoo, one of the largest non-profit zoos in the United States, cares for more than 3,000 animals across nearly 400 species at 455 North Galvin Parkway.
