Right in the heart of downtown Orlando sits one of the happiest places in the city: Lake Eola Park. With its sparkling lake, graceful swans, and the famous fountain dancing in the center, this park feels like Orlando’s living room — and everyone is invited.
The nearly one-mile loop around the lake is perfect for a morning jog, a sunset stroll, or a slow family walk with an ice cream in hand. Kids love the swan-shaped paddle boats gliding across the water, and the playground near the southeast corner keeps little ones busy. On Sunday mornings, the Orlando Farmers Market fills the park’s edge with fresh produce, local art, and live music.
The park is free to enter and open daily, and the skyline views from the lake are some of the best photo spots in Central Florida. Tip: come at dusk, when the fountain lights up and the city glows behind it — pure magic.
