Winter Park has a beautiful evening ahead! This Thursday, October 8, the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens hosts a very special guest: acclaimed photographer Clyde Butcher, known around the world for his breathtaking black-and-white portraits of wild Florida and America’s great landscapes.
In an intimate lecture, Butcher will share stories from his decades-long journey across America’s most stunning natural places — from the Everglades’ swamps to the far-off corners he has captured with his large-format camera. It’s a rare chance to hear, firsthand, how a lifetime behind the lens becomes a mission to protect the wild places we all love.
Tickets include the lecture, admission to his current exhibition America the Beautiful (on view through December 6), and a signed book. If you love photography, nature, or simply a good story well told, this is one night you won’t want to miss.Doors open early so guests can stroll the sculpture gardens before the talk.
