The Orlando Museum of Art is turning Day of the Dead into a creative night out. As part of its popular “Art Night Out” series, OMA invites adults to celebrate the joyful Mexican tradition of Día de los Muertos by painting their own ceramic calavera to take home.
The evening takes place on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, led by Florida artist Gabriela Hernández. All materials are included in the ticket price — along with an adult beverage — so guests can simply relax, sip and paint in the festive company of fellow art lovers.
“Art Night Out” is OMA’s beloved recurring series where participants learn a new art technique in one fun-filled evening, and this Day of the Dead edition promises extra color and meaning: a celebration of life expressed through art.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required (call 407.896.4231 ext. 261 or email [email protected]). Tickets are $28 for museum members and $32 for future members.
The Orlando Museum of Art is located at 2416 N. Mills Ave., Orlando. A night of paint, culture and celebration — the perfect way to honor Día de los Muertos.
