Make Your Own Holiday Wreath at Cheekwood’s Live Greenery Workshop on November 21

Nashville, get your front door ready for the holidays. Cheekwood Estate & Gardens invites you to roll up your sleeves and make your own holiday wreath at its Live Greenery Wreath Workshop on Saturday, November 21, 2026, in Botanic Hall – Massey Auditorium.

Cheekwood is offering two sessions that day, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., so you can pick the time that fits your Saturday. Instructor Abigail Boroughs will guide participants as they build their own wreath from a high-quality selection of fresh, live greenery and ribbons – a handmade decoration that smells as lovely as it looks and is ready to hang the moment you get home.

The workshop costs $70 for not-yet-members and $56 for Cheekwood members, and registration is open through Cheekwood’s official calendar; member pre-sale began October 6 and public on-sale followed on October 13. If November 21 fills up, the official calendar lists the workshop again on December 5.

Set on 55 acres at 1200 Forrest Park Drive, Cheekwood is Nashville’s beloved botanical garden, arboretum and art museum, and its hands-on Gardening School workshops are a cheerful way to learn a new skill surrounded by the estate’s gardens. Reserve your spot early, bring a friend, and leave with a wreath made by you.
