Haunted Museum Returns to the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County on October 10

Halloween season is about to get a wild start in Exposition Park. On Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 5 to 9 pm, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County transforms after dark for Haunted Museum 2026, a member-exclusive night of spooky science, music, and nocturnal discoveries.

Guests can dive into the deep, dark ocean with the exhibition Orcas: Our Shared Future in an after-hours setting, meeting the museum’s team of scientists and researchers while uncovering hidden curiosities of the natural world. There is something for every kind of night owl: monster-mashing tunes to dance to, brews for the grown-ups, and delicious sweet treats from local food trucks available throughout the evening.

The event is exclusive to members: free tickets are available for Discoverer, Naturalist, and Explorer levels, and tickets can also be purchased at the Individual, Dual, and Family membership levels. Not a member yet? Joining or renewing today unlocks this and many more after-dark adventures.
