Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs is a 2,040-acre city park where history and nature meet — and where proud peacocks roam free among ponds, cottonwood trees, and historic ranch buildings!
Once a working ranch and now one of Las Vegas’s largest public parks, it offers fishing ponds, picnic areas, walking trails, and the historic Tule Springs Ranch listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The resident peacocks are the undisputed stars of the show.
It’s a favorite for family picnics, birthday parties, and lazy weekend afternoons. Tip: bring quarters for the fishing pond bait machines, pack a picnic lunch, and keep an eye out for the peacocks — they love to show off their feathers.
Beyond the peacocks, the park features four stocked fishing ponds, group picnic ramadas you can reserve, and miles of equestrian and walking trails. Historic ranch buildings host occasional tours that bring the Old West to life.
