Tucked along the Las Vegas Wash, the Clark County Wetlands Park is a 2,900-acre natural sanctuary where desert wetlands burst with life — and entry is completely free!
This public park protects one of the most important wetland habitats in Southern Nevada. Miles of shaded trails and boardwalks wind past ponds and streams teeming with birds, beavers, coyotes, and more than 300 species of wildlife. The Nature Center offers free exhibits and family programs.
It’s a hidden gem for birdwatchers, photographers, and families seeking calm away from the crowds. Tip: bring binoculars for the best wildlife viewing, visit in the morning when animals are most active, and wear comfortable walking shoes.
The park’s free Nature Center features interactive exhibits about the Las Vegas Wash watershed, and rangers lead guided walks and family programs throughout the year. It’s an easy, flat outing — great for grandparents and little legs alike.
